This is the horrific video footage of gay-bashing victim Jack Price being savagely beaten on 18th Avenue in College Point over the weekend. No one should ever, ever suffer an attack like this because they are LGBT. To watch this video is to be reminded that the day has not yet come when we can be out, proud, and safe in the streets of our own cities and towns.

There will be a march and rally this Saturday to protest this outrage. I'll post the information on that as soon as it becomes available.

  1. Wow... this is the first time I've seen this video. Just so sad that people think this is okay, or that they'll even get away with it in this day and age.

The one that still at large, btw, Daniel Rodriguez, am I the only one who noticed he CLEARLY swings like a little girl? How many times do we have to see this age-old story played out?

It's like the shirt I got from tee-shirt Hell: "It's ain't gay if you beat 'em up after."

  2. Before the first suspect, Aleman, was told there was video footage of this attack, he tried to claim a "gay panic defense". That's an age-old story, too. SMH!

  3. I don't know what to say. My heart is heavy with grief for Jack Price (victim). Our society is in big trouble. Boxing is a sport enjoyed by the masses. Live crime videos have become entertainment outlets. God help us!
